MR709E Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors Engineering Teaching Equipment
MR709E Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors
Three-phase asynchronous motors are the workhorse of industrial drive systems. The MR709E teaching unit is specially built for electrical lab teaching, helping students intuitively learn the basic principles and running characteristics of squirrel-cage induction motors.
1. Product Introduction
This is an AC induction motor driven by three-phase alternating current. Its stator is fitted with three separate windings with an electrical angle difference of 120°. It has no excitation coils, commutators or carbon brushes. The rotor adopts a common squirrel-cage cast aluminum structure. When powered on, the stator produces a rotating magnetic field. Electromagnetic induction creates current inside the rotor and generates driving torque. The rotor speed runs slightly slower than the synchronous speed of the magnetic field, which is why it is called an asynchronous motor. This device works only with three-phase AC power and is not compatible with DC power. There are no series or shunt windings. Thanks to its straightforward structure, it is widely adopted in industrial power drive scenarios.
2. Core Product Features
It features a simple and sturdy structure. Without carbon brushes, there is no commutation wear. It delivers a long service life, stable running performance and low operating noise, suitable for repeated teaching experiments in laboratories.
3. Technical Specifications
Power supply: Three-phase three-wire AC 380V, 50Hz
Overall dimension: 250mm*235mm*240mm
Weight: Approximately 10kg
Compact size and light weight make it easy to place, move and store in teaching labs.
4. Main Components and Supporting Accessories
The main components include one panel, one bearing and one housing.
Matching accessories are 4mm double-ended safety connection cables, 1m long: 2 yellow, 2 green and 2 red. Color-coded cables support fast and standard wiring for experimental circuits.
5. Supported Teaching Experiments
Two core teaching experiments are available for this unit. Full operation steps can be found in the experiment manual.
1. Understanding Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors: Learn internal structure, composition and basic working theory.
2. Three-Phase Asynchronous Motor Operation Experiment: Observe the motor running state and master its operation characteristics.
6. Application
The MR709E three-phase asynchronous motor teaching unit is a basic electrical training rig. It is suitable for universities, vocational schools and technical training centers. It enables teachers to carry out intuitive machine principle teaching and allows students to complete hands-on motor operation training.
