1. Product Introduction
1.1 Product Description

Electrical equipment is not energized under normal circumstances, but metal casings, frames, etc. that may be energized under fault conditions are reliably electrically connected to the earth through grounding devices to provide a low-impedance discharge path for fault current, greatly reducing the voltage between the equipment casing and the ground, thereby preventing electric shock accidents when people touch the casing. At the same time, it prompts the protection device (circuit breaker, fuse) to quickly cut off the power supply.
The fault current does not pass through (or rarely passes through) the earth, but flows directly back to the neutral point of the power supply through the equipment casing → zero line (PE/PEN) → to form a metal short circuit. The huge short-circuit current causes the protection device to act instantly (quick break).
Integrated detection elements (thermal element-bimetallic strip for overload, electromagnetic element-trip for short circuit) and operating mechanism. After detecting the fault current, the mechanical tripping mechanism is triggered to disconnect the contacts. It can be manually reset for multiple uses. In case of overload and short circuit, the thermal effect or electromagnetic effect generated by the fault current itself is used to drive the disconnection action. In case of leakage, the current difference (residual current) between the live wire and the neutral wire is detected by the "zero-sequence current transformer", and then the tripping is triggered by the electronic circuit or electromagnetic mechanism.
