MR711E Series-Wound DC Motor Educational Lab Equipment Demonstrational Equipment Electrical Installation Lab
1. Product Introduction
1.1 Product Description
A DC series motor is a fundamental type of DC motor. In this motor, the stator field winding and the rotor armature winding are connected end-to-end in series, sharing the same operating current, hence the name "series motor." The motor mainly consists of a housing, stator field windings, an armature rotor with a commutator, carbon brushes, bearings, and cooling fans. It has only two external terminals and no independent excitation power supply line. When a DC power supply is applied, the carbon brushes and commutator continuously switch the rotor current, which, in conjunction with the stator magnetic field, generates a unidirectional torque to drive the rotor to rotate.
1.2 Product Features
Extremely high starting torque.
Wide speed adjustment range, with extremely high no-load speed.
